Project Name:

Project Description:
North American Management provided the U.S. Navy Strategic Systems Programs, Office of Human Resources, directed support including registration of SSP users from around the fleet, training SSP staff on how to use the systems available, and writing and editing reports to provide information to SSP management. Our staff developed and maintained HTML documents for the Internet and Intranet portals which SSP used to schedule fleet personnel for skill enhancement training, tracking of skill requirements and skill capability inventory modules, and tracking and reporting on Individual Development Plans to assure that SSP personnel are kept current in their training requirements. Our staff support of SSP’s web portals included maintenance of SSP newsletter articles, training schedules, and a directory of training coordinators, vendor links and updates to SSP training request forms. We maintained the interfaces between these web pages and the Learning Management System (Ingenium) Databases. This task required that we assist in the development and implementation of various automated and non-automated tools, processes and concepts related to implementing Navy Career Development initiatives, succession planning, management development, upward mobility, internships, career counseling, workforce renewal, job rotation, and cross training. We also maintained the SSP Learning Library, the Career Development Center, and Distance Learning technology and Knowledge Management systems.
