North American Management assisted the Fairfax County (Virginia) Department of Family Services manage the implementation of welfare reforms mandated by the Commonwealth of Virginia’s Virginia Initiative for Employment Not Welfare   and the U.S. Governments Temporary Assistance to Needy Families Program ( nown as VIEW (Virginia Initiative for Employment Not Welfare). The focus of the Contract was to assist the County's Human Services Professionals to affect the programmatic and cultural change necessary for successfully transforming the program from one that determined eligility and distributed benefits, to one that promotes self-sufficiency through employment. Specifically, North American Management, as a subcontractor,  provided the following services: needs assessment , process reengineering, facilitation, performance standards and performance measures development, project management, training , curricula development, and best practices development.
